- All competitors must have a minimum HPAC Novice rating, or foreign equivalent. Novice pilots must have a intermediate or higher mentor and may not be able to fly if launch director or safety person says so.

- Pilots must be hooked in and ready to go before stepping into the launch line-up.
- Standard rules for calling a “push” will apply. All pilots ahead of the push will have 30 seconds of cumulative safe conditions to launch before they must step aside and go to the back of the line. The pilot calling the push will have 30 seconds of cumulative safe launch conditions after which time he will be zero’d for the day, at the launch directors discretion.
- Pilots are urged to avoid or resolve any disputes with land owners for outfield landings.
- Unresolved disputes will be penalized at a minimum of 10% for the day.
- Protests will be made to the Meet Director. A fee of $50 is required for protests, refundable if the protest is successful. The Meet Director can make the determination himself or appoint additional people to the protest committee to assist with the ruling.
- The Safety Committee will have the authority to stop a task or prevent a pilot from flying if deemed to be unsafe. If a task is stopped while in progress, the scores will be calculated to 15 minutes before the time of cancellation. It is the individual pilot’s own responsibility to judge their own safety at all times. If an individual pilot feels that conditions are becoming unsafe during a task, he should land as quickly and safely as possible.
- All rules are subject to review and amendment at any time by the Meet Director and Meet Producer.
- GPS’s must be uploaded as soon as possible after landing and no later than 8:00 PM (or designated time). If it is not possible to upload the GPS on time, the pilot is responsible for notifying the scorer prior to the deadline.
